Ashdown too strong for Sparta

For the 6th time in a row, it was Ashdown that took the honours in the annual Hastings Challenge match.

Remembering Sir Peter Harrop KCB

Sir Peter Harrop was the Permanent Secretary to the Dept of the Environment and, during the late 80's and early 90's was a keen supporter of the then then DOE(LG) Golf Society (now Sparta).

Superb day at Knole Park 

James Milligan’s Captain’s Day finally took place in early September after being cancelled in 2020 due to Covid restrictions and July this year due to the club being unable to fit us in.

It was a dry but blustery day at Pedham Place, an ‘inland links’ golf course for Andrew and Dave to contest their Mond Cup semi-final.
